Sharenology Debuts New Municipal Software Solution TownController

VICTOR, NY, JANUARY 28, 2015 — Sharenology LLC., a leading provider of cloud-based software, announces the debut of its new municipal software solution TownController™ at the Association of Towns of the State of New York’s 2015 Annual Meeting and Training School, booth 4. Held at the Hilton Midtown, New York, NY, Feb. 15–17, 2015. The Annual Meeting, in its 82nd year, attracts more than 2,250 town officials from more than three-quarters of the state’s 932 towns. TownController allows municipalities of all sizes to streamline permitting, meetings, and building inspections. The municipal software acts as a central database for municipalities to manage, track, and report on permit applications/projects, board meetings, building inspections and related activities. TownController is a web-based solution with flexible features that enable municipalities to support operations related to the application process, conduct pre-meeting planning, manage meeting agendas, execute meetings, report and publish meeting minutes, and facilitate the building department inspection process. TownController simplifies work methods associated with department, consultant, and staff reviews, approvals, and permit issuance processes from initial application to certificate of occupancy. TownController standardizes workflows allowing building departments to manage and record inspections quickly while minimizing the need to carry records into the field. The citizen (public) access portal provides access to enter, submit, manage, and pay for applications and permits online.
